Es gibt tatsächlich noch Spieleentwickler, die ein Spiel auf Basis einer Idee eines Kindes entwickeln. Bei Super Icon Pixel ist genau das der Fall. Vom Entwickler-Sohn inspiriert und auch mit seiner tatkräftigen Unterstützung hat Super Icon Ltd via Kickstarter ihr nächstes Projekt vorgestellt. Best Buds vs Bad Guys soll genau das sein, was eine Vater-Sohn-Beziehung ausmacht: Selbst im Eifer des Gefechts durch Dick und Dünn gehen.
Bekannt vom PSM Spiel Life of Pixel orientiert sich Best Buds vs Bad Guys wieder an der Pixelgrafik und bekannten Action-Spielen wie Metal Slugs. In diesem Run’n’Gun geht es nur um das Überleben, Feuern und gemeinsam Gewinnen. Nicht verwunderlich also, dass wir hier einen 2 Spieler Coop spendiert bekommen, den man in elf Leveln ausreizen kann.
Bei einem Stretchgoal von 6.500 Pfund (ca. 7800 Euro) versichert man der PS Vita Community das Spiel auch für den Handheld. In der Kickstarter Kampagne und in der Galerie habt ihr weitere Einblicke in den Entwicklungsprozess, dem Leveldesign sowie den Bossen.
