Ende November hat Quickfire Games den Kickstarter finanzierten Titel veröffentlicht. Allerdings in einer anderen Form als ursprünglich vorgesehen. Denn das Entwicklerstudio hat aus finanziellen Gründen entschieden, Wild Season in Episoden zu veröffentlichen. Laut dem Entwicklerblog hatte man vor allem zu wenig Zeit für die Qualitätssicherung eingeplant, zwei komplette Redesigns vollzogen und das Spiel vor allem für die mobilen Ableger optimiert. Der Release soll für diese schon in naher Zukunft erfolgen.
