Auf ihrer diesjährigen Pressekonferenz hat NISA Tokyo Tattoo Girls für 2017 angekündigt. Das Strategiespiel marschiert auf unsere PS Vitas und Steam.
Nach einem Ereignis, welches Tokyo heimsucht, erhalten einige der Überlebenden seltsame Kräfte in Form von leuchtenden Tätowierungen. Nachdem die Stadt von der Außenwelt abgeschnitten wurde, hat man sie in 23 Distrikte aufgeteilt, die jeweils von einer mächtigen Gruppe namens „Kumi“ kontrolliert werden. Die Gruppen aller Distrikte bilden zusammen die Union.
Euer Charakter schließt sich als Tätowierer mit einer Partnerin zusammen, die die Macht der Tattoos nutzen kann. Gerüchteweise soll der Bezwinger der Union das abgeschottete Tokyo verlassen können. Als Tätowierer könnt ihr die Kräfte euer Begleiter durch neue Tätowierungen stärken, die übrigens aus der Hand von Koji Tanaka stammen.
