Viel gab es auf der diesjährigen Consumer Electronics Show (CES), dem amerikanischen Pendant zur CeBIT, für PS Vita Fans nicht zu sehen. Trotzdem fielen einige Worte zu Sonys neuestem Handheld: Neben den aktuellen Verkaufszahlen wurden zwei neue Dienste für die PS Vita angekündigt: Music Unlimited und Netflix. Während ersteres Sonys eigener Musik Streaming Service ist, ist Netflix ein Video-Dienst, welches eine große Auswahl an Spielfilmen und Serien besitzt und diese über das Internet zugänglich macht.
Music Unlimited wird pünktlich zum EU Launch am 22.02.2012 verfügbar sein; Bei Netflix arbeiten beide Unternehmen mit Hochdruck daran, den Service passend zum Start anbieten zu können.
