Das deutsche Indiestudio Pixel Lantern hat sich eine Priese Spelunky genommen und dazu die Grundidee der alten Platformer-Klassiker wie Alex Kidd in Miracle World oder Wonder Boy in Monster Land und das Ergebnis ist ihr Platformer Bard’s Gold. Das Spiel wird am 17. Juni bei uns als Cross-Buy-Titel erscheinen.
In dem Retroplatformer gibt es keinen einfachen Modus und keine Hilfen. Ihr müsst eure Fähigkeiten selbst entdecken und finden. Ganz im Stile der Klassiker werdet ihr immer besser im Spiel werden, weil ihr die verschiedenen Elemente verinnerlicht und so z.B. einen Boss leichter besiegen könnt. Außerdem könnt ihr mit verdienten Juwelen permanente Upgrades kaufen, um euren Charakter zu stärken.
Damit euch nicht zu schnell langweilig wird, wird jeder Durchgang zufällig zusammengewürfelt. Mit über 100 Leveln, die übrigens handgemacht sind, ergeben sich da einige mögliche Kombinationen.

Freut mich, dass immer mehr deutsche Entwickler den Sprung auf die PS Vita wagen 🙂
